Course duration: 3 hoursOur new workshop ‘Leaves from the Secret Garden’, is the first of a trio, all inspired by the famous children’s story – The Secret Garden. Our project which is included in Kirsty Allsop’s new book ‘Craft’ was also featured in the Daily Mail national newspaper within their ‘Weekend’ Magazine. Click here to see a video of Kirstie Allsop making a silver leaf with Larissa.
This workshop is suitable for a beginner and will teach you how to select the ideal leaf, apply silver clay paste, refining and firing techniques. During the 3 hours you will normally make one to two pendants, depending on the size of leaf selected. At the end of the course you will leave with the knowledge and confidence to work with this fantastic product on your own.
- You may want to bring an apron and pen & paper to take notes. If you do bring any food, please remember we do try and keep a Nut Free environment so we would appreciate it if you would please refrain from bringing any products containing nuts.
- Once you have booked onto a workshop or course we will process your booking and send you a letter confirming your booking and details of the event.
- We schedule about an hour for lunch and a break for refreshments. On the Contact Us page of our website you will find our full address, a map and directions to us.
- All our courses and workshops are taught by qualified & experienced teachers and we deliberately keep them small (about 6 per class) to ensure individual attention.
