Course duration: 10am - 5pm
This course will introduce you to all the basics of handling silver metal clay - shaping, texturing, sanding, polishing, etc, as well as making the ever popular Fingerprint jewellery. During the course you will learn how to take a fingerpint suitable for transferring onto the metal clay as well as how to set stones, add writing, date of birth or a "kiss" to your jewellery. You will also learn soldering techniques to create really professional cufflinks, especially important if you plan to start your own business.
All our teachers are more than happy to share any information or give advice on starting a business in Keepsake Jewellery. We were the first company to teach this course back in 2007 and have had 100's of people from all over the world attend. This still remains one of our most popular courses and we believe that it offers great value for money. It is an intensive one day course and you will leave with the knowledge and confidence to work with this fantastic product on your own and produce stunning pieces that will be admired by all. But don't despair if in the future you require some support, we will always be at the end of the phone for you our customer.
Once you have made an online booking, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order, which contains details of the date & times of the workshop you have booked. Please check this carefully and let us know as soon as possible if there are any problems.

What does the course include?
The cost of the course includes Silver Paste for fixing or joining items, Cubic Zirconias, Silver Solder, use of all tools and equipment required as well as refreshments and we do have an indulgent sweetie tin too! You will also receive a work mat that is yours to keep and a Workshop Notes Booklet.
Do I have to bring or buy anything in addition?
In addition you will need Silver Clay and unassembled Sterling Silver Cufflink Findings. You can purchase these from us on the day or you may bring your own. You may also want to bring an apron and pen & paper to take notesand a packed lunch to eat in the studio or there are pubs, shops and a cafe a few minutes walk or drive away. We do try and keep a Nut Free environment so we would appreciate it if you would please refrain from bringing any products containing nuts.
Can I buy additional materials to take home?
We do sell all the materials and tools you need to get started. If there is something you specifically require then please let us know in advance so that we can ensure we have it in stock
